Ok, so you have chosen to take a big step forward and join the Christmas Weight Loss Challenge!

This will be a hard 12 Weeks but with many rewards, one of which will be weighing a lot lighter at the end of the 12 weeks!

If your name is in "Green" and you have the words "Christmas Challenge" under your name then you are already in the challenge, if not let me know.

OK Basic Rules:

All must be completed between 1AM Friday 2nd of October through until 11:59pm Sunday 4th October (GMT) - Don't complete all of the required steps = Out of Challenge. (you have 3 full days to do this)

  • Starting Weight added to your weight tracker (only 1 weight entry allowed between these days)
  • All body measurements taken and updated in your profile, if you do not have a tape measure please get one from ebay or contact me I will post you one for £2.00 including postage. (UK) (or £3.50 worldwide)
  • Download the pdf and the checklist below
  • Take your photo holding the printed PDF to prove your photo is current and has been taken this weekend - We need Full length Front and Side Shot with printed PDF Visible in both. If you are not able to print you will need to make one on blank paper yourself and substitute.All participants will be emailed a strict diet that they will be using for the first week of the plan THIS DIET IS NOT TO BE SHARED ON THE FORUM OR SITE - STRICTLY FOR THIS CHALLENGE ONLY You will recieve this tonight at around 10pm you then have over the weekend to organise what you need for the first week. If anyone is a Vegetarian you need to send me a PM through the forums to work out some alternatives.
  • Any blank or animated Avatars must be changed to a real photo of you (face)If you have a username which is not your real name please enter your first name in your signature area on the forums or request your username be changed to your real name (you can omit surname if you desire.
  • Create a blog post that confirms you are starting the challenge, (if you have already created one you don't need to) It can say anything, I just want to know that you know how to create a blog post, I dont want everyone telling me on Monday they can't post a blog we need to use this weekend to get organised.

SUPPORT FOR GETTING STARTED:
I will be available for the full next 3 days to answer any questions, but please take notice:

  1. Any question you want to ask post into the Pre-Challenge Forum PRE-CHALLENGE (TECHNICAL QUESTIONS)
  2. Do not ask your question in someone elses question as I will want to mark questions as closed once answered to keep myself organised
  3. Please search to ensure your question has not already been asked before asking

If you encounter any problems setting up your weight account on the site please contact me, do not delete the first weight record in the Weight tracker as this deletes your account (I have just discovered this today and have not had chance to work out the problem and re-code it)

I will be making quick videos this evening of how to edit your signature, create your blog etc.

If there is anything that you do not understand then please ask in the Pre-Challenge forum which is located here: PRE-CHALLENGE (TECHNICAL QUESTIONS)

Everything listed must be done 100% by Sunday night 11:59pm GMT no exceptions! You have 3 Days.

Over the first 7 Days you need to add everyone who is doing challenge to your friends list in the community area (this is 7 day job not 3)

I would love to join the challenge but bein Gluten and partially Dairy free means I usually struggle with diets and having to substitute so much! I will be keeping an eye on the threads tho and good luck to everyone!

Yes i think that would be a good idea, not compulsory because i know a lot of people are struggling as it is with setting things up but if you are comfortable setting a ticker up then I would say go for it.

Yes you can update your weight first thing in the morning as you start new plan if you want or you can go from any days weight from this Fri, Sat, Sun its up to you

Hi Amanda, it wont allow you to do the change I would have to, I will do it when the site goes quite later tonight as i have to merge the database after i do it (and i have two other name changes to do also)

Sure that will be no problem at all, are you taking thyroxine? if so whats your dosage
