baby steps!

Well, with a bit of good advice to set me on the right path and a lot of thinking, I think I feel more focussed than I have in a long time!

I've added my goals to my signature on here and most importantly no time frames for meeting them! I'm going to make slow and steady progress at a rate my body allows me.

This is not about a quick-fix, this is to set me up for a healthy middle-age, so I have to do things right. Yes, I want to lose weight, but I also want to strengthen my muscles and improve my overall well-being.

I'm hoping that once I start exercising more I will feel more inclined to eat better to fuel my body and also to not negate my efforts! I love food but it could so easily be the death of me if I let it! So I have to reign in my bingeing moments & try to include a wider range of nutrients in my diet. But I am quietly confident that it will all come together in time.

    I've just stumbled across your blog sorry to hear bout your car. I haven't had a car or access to one for years, tho I've found that public transport being good in my area makes it easy temptation not to walk! lol

    Look forward to reading all about your journey.
