Woweeeee!

I've no idea how I've done it really but this week I've lost 3lb. I've been the same weight for weeks so maybe it's just me!! I've been eating pretty sensibly but very little real exercise. Today I've walked miles to my daughter's and to the town and I'm just about to walk back home again. May have to stay in bed all day tomorrow to recover!!!

Life's little stresses!

Yesterday morning the exhaust of our car broke on the way to work! This made for quite a tense 24hours so I am relieved to be able to say it all got sorted before work today!

I just can't help wondering how someone with lower blood pressure and more physical ability would deal with that... I was anxious all day & not least at the thought of maybe having to walk some distance if the worst happened and we couldn't continue our journey home from work. It is hard to believe that before...

Am definately losing weight at the minute. The weightwatchers scales (GGGRRRRRRRRRR) say I'm anything between 12st 4lbs!!!! and 11st 8lbs!!!!!!! but I know I've lost weight and think I'm about 11st 9lbs at the very most. This is going by the fact that I can almost zip up my black trousers and I feel slimmer than since I had my little girl, (6 an a half years ago) lol.

Am hating my job as a newly qualified nurse I have almost no support and feel stressed to f*ck, but I know when to...

This is the only way I can get on Diethell at the moment. Had a good few days really but not much exercise. I'm back on the sugar free jelly just now,oh and lots of yogurt, I love the toffee one. I'm making lots of smoothies using my lovely hand blender but I keep ending up with smoothie splattered all over walls,floors and cupboards as I keep using it like a whisk..ah well, it's one way of cutting the calories!

baby steps!

Well, with a bit of good advice to set me on the right path and a lot of thinking, I think I feel more focussed than I have in a long time!

I've added my goals to my signature on here and most importantly no time frames for meeting them! I'm going to make slow and steady progress at a rate my body allows me.

This is not about a quick-fix, this is to set me up for a healthy middle-age, so I have to do things right. Yes, I want to lose weight, but I also want to strengthen...
