Weighday...and quite pleased with myself

OK, so maybe I SHOULDN'T be pleased with myself, but I am. I haven't lost any weight this week, but then I haven't put any on either, which is what I was worried about.

Last week was a complete write-off, and was always going to be. I'd had stuff planned for last week as long as a year and six months ago....so couldn't exactly do the 'hiding' that I did the week before!

Last week I went out for dinner 3 times, lunch once, sunday roast with my family, and then 2 gigs...

Little slip.....or not?

I've had so much going on lately that I haven't been on as much this week at all.

i've still been doing pretty good though, still keeping off the caffeine as much, still drinking the yucky water, and still watching what I'm eating. When i went to lunch with the friend that I'd putt off on week 1, i went for the healthy option, and didn't have the big capuccinno that I usually have - had apple juice instead. When i went to spec out a conference venue, my boss tried to tempt me...

Achey ankle

Well peed off tonight. Was meant to be going to the gym, but when i changed tubes at Euston tonight, the bloke in front of me dropped his drink, and my silly high-heelly shoes slipped and i went right onto my ankle. Luckily didn't fall over like a twat this time, but oh my GOD does it hurt. Dunno if I've sprained or twisted it, or simply bruised it at the moment - see how it feels in the morning. hurt so much that I couldn't face the stairs at the station and walk home, had to get in the lift...

Happy hips

Well, my hips may be happy, but *I* am not very happy with THEM.

I've noticed today that my usual trousers (which I haven't worn for a couple of weeks) are pretty loose around my waist and thighs...but not my hips!!! It looks very silly, they're falling down a little on my waist (not the best look, and they're not a belt-loop type), and positively roomy around my legs, but my hips don't seem to have changed at all!!!

I guess the stuff I do at the gym is mainly leg-muscle...

Monday madness

Well, I went and weighed myself on the way into work, and have lost 3lb, which I was very VERY happy with. Well worth the two hours in the pool yesterday chucking the girls around, and swimming properly when I could escape them (which wasn't often enough for my liking!).

Comforted myself with a semi-good (very good in cooking, only semi-good diet-wise) roast dinner cooked by TN when I got home. I thought it would undo any good I had done during the week, but luckily it hasn't....
